MARSHALL AMPLIFICATION

Marshall Amplification is pleased to announce the launch of the new Astoria Series. Inspired by our heritage and incorporating contemporary features with stylish visual appeal, this new hand wired series of amplifiers is a reflection of great craftsmanship, build quality, and above all else amazing tone.

Externally, these amplifiers are eye catching and unique. Internally, the Astoria Series marries contemporary switching circuitry convenience with boutique-style hand wiring craftsmanship, sound and simplicity.

There are three di erent models in the series, each with its own sonic appeal. Some consistent features across the series include: 30 Watt all-valve power stages incorporating two KT66 valves, Hi and Lo sensitivity inputs, an Edge feature for controlling how bright or dark the overall tone of the amp will be, and Power Reduction for the ultimate in output variation.

The rest of the amps features are unique to themselves (see descriptions below). Astoria is aimed at guitarists who know good tone, and across the three models there is something for everyone.

The additional 1 x 12” speaker cabinet for each unit in the series is designed for use with the head or as an extension cabinet for the combo. The speaker used in the combos and speaker cabinets is a premium custom-voiced 75 Watt Celestion Creamback.

ASTORIA CLASSIC

The Astoria Classic is a single channel amplifier that will appeal to purists who want loud, clean valve tone, and to boutique pedal enthusiasts who will find it the perfect pure-valve foundation for their sound.

The amp also features Power Reduction which can be accessed via the Master volume control, Edge control for controlling how dark or bright the overall tone is, and Sensitivity control to find that perfect bite.

ASTORIA CUSTOM

The Astoria Custom is ideal for the player who likes unique features on an amplifier. As well as having distinctive tone, the format includes a single channel design with Boost switch to add plenty of natural gain when needed. The character of the amp goes from mildly mannered to pure tone heaven.

On top of that, there is an Edge control to make the overall tone brighter or darker, as well as a

Master volume, Power Reduction and Bright switch.

On the rear panel of the Astoria Custom is a footswitchable FX loop with Send, Return and Level controls. If the FX Loop is unused, the Level control can be used as a volume boost.

ASTORIA DUAL

The Astoria Dual is an original two channel design. The clean channel ranges from brilliant clean sounds to classic Marshall crunch, and the overdrive channel takes over from there offering plenty of gain and tone for heavier riffs and solos.

As well as having the consistent Edge and Power Reduction features, this model also has a

Body switch to broaden low end frequencies, as well as a Master volume.
